Shawna Ciurej is a compassionate and skilled Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) who specializes in trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and navigating significant life transitions. With extensive training in EMDR, DBT, TF-CBT, CBT, and attachment-based therapy, Shawna is dedicated to helping clients process and heal from difficult life experiences.
Working with a diverse range of clients—from children and young adults to retirees—Shawna brings a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy. She has experience working with schools to implement effective strategies that help students thrive both academically and emotionally, fostering a positive and supportive school environment. In working with younger clients, Shawna enjoys helping parents support the needs of their children through parenting skills and understanding their unique needs.
