DAWN MORGAN-BAKER, PLMHP, NCC
Dawn Morgan-Baker has spent the last 12 years working in the child welfare system resulting in extensive experience working with children and families and the juvenile justice system. Dawn is also experienced in working with various populations, including interracial families, those who identify as LGBTQ+/SOGIE, and multicultural families.
Dawn holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice (2008), a master’s degree in criminal justice (2013), and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling (2021) from University of Nebraska Omaha. Dawn is also a National Board Certified Counselor. Dawn has completed additional training in Adoption Competency to assist families and children who are struggling with mental health or conflict resolution post-adoption. Dawn has clinical experience working with teenagers in a psychiatric residential treatment facility.
Dawn utilizes an eclectic view of therapy, molding sessions to meet clients where they are and utilizing therapeutic tools that will best help them succeed. Dawn believes in the voice and choice of the client, knowing that with the proper guidance and tools, they can resolve their issues. Dawn will work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, but prefers to work with teenagers, young adults, and adoption families/individuals.
